At 300 pages, this open source textbook from Warehouse Science is for serious optimization geeks. The mathematics and computational models behind palatalization, shelving, picking/stowing, and overall layout is a fascinating fact-based hypothesis on the ideal warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center.
